This is a remote position.
We are seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to provide technical expertise for a crucial program focused on the development, modernization, enhancement, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical systems for DHS/CBP. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mix of technical and communication skills, necessary for troubleshooting application issues and applying preventative measures.
Role & Responsibilities:
Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. Participate in all software development lifecycle phases, including estimation, design, coding, and testing. Utilize your Mobile App Development expertise to recommend the best designs based on customer objectives, time constraints, and resources.
Requirements
BS/BA degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years; or 4 additional years of experience instead of a degree. At least 5 years of experience in Mobile development (Android/iOS). Strong skills in Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development. Proficient in JAVA, Node JS, NoSQL, and SQL databases. Solid application testing discipline. Experience with Google’s Flutter engine, Dart language, and similar frameworks. Creative thinking with excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Postgres, Springboot, SQL, Kafka, MySQL, Struts, Hibernate, Java, JSF, Swing, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React. Familiarity with software design patterns, and issue/problem tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices. Excellent communication skills. Experience with DevOps frameworks. U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to maintain/obtain a CBP Background Investigation.
