Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related IT discipline3+ years of experience with object-oriented PHP web application developmentExperience working with PHP 8Experience working with a PHP framework such as Symfony or Laravel (Symfony preferred)Thorough understanding of OOP (object-oriented programming) principlesKnowledge of test-driven development and experience with PHPUnitExperience working with a front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue (React preferred) and understanding of responsive and “mobile first” design approachesExperience working with SQL and thorough understanding of the underlying database principlesExperience with RESTful APIs development and integrationThorough understanding of Git-based version controlExperience with project management software such as JiraUnderstanding of Agile development life cycleStrong logic, analytical, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work well in the distributed multi-cultural team environmentProactive team player qualities
