Senior Salesforce Developer

We are open to this role being 100% remote within the United States with a preference for EST, CST or MST time zones. The Sr Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations within the Salesforce cloud. Leverages an advanced understanding of general business operations and existing frameworks for design, build and release of solutions and capabilities. They will work to create and maintain custom applications and processes within Salesforce, integrate third-party platforms, and troubleshoot technical issues within existing code.

What You Will DoDesign and prototype solutions, primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming language and Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Unit TestingCustomize objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflows (and successor options that replace them), process builder, email alerts, approval processes, list views, reports, and dashboardsPerform and coordinate testing both in Salesforce and other applicationsManage and maintain standards for requirements gathering and documentationResearch and learn new technologies and development tools

Must HavesBachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent professional working experience5+ years of experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and development on the Salesforce platformUnderstanding of the architecture, capabilities, and constraints of the Salesforce platformProven experience with Force.com developer toolkit - Lightning Component Framework, Apex, Visualforce, Native, Aura components, SOQL, Webservice/SOA, Metadata APIs, and Unit TestingProven experience in core web technologies including JavaScript, JSON and XMLExperience with IDEs: VS Code, Sublime, Eclipse, APEX Data loader and Force.comUnderstanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQLProven experience with Agile development methodology and continuous deployment tools such as GitLab, Jira and DevOps tools like Copado or GearsetUnderstanding and experience with iPaaS solutions such as Tibco or similar solutionsGood verbal and written communication skills, particularly around technical documentationGood presentation and public speaking skillsAbility to build partnerships at all levels within the company

The posted range for this position is $83,000 - $115,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
