Who are we?Datanest is a Christchurch-based SaaS company specialising in tools that digitise and automate the collection, management and delivery of information, primarily for Engineering and Science professionals. Our saas product has been in the market for a year in NZ and we’re about to launch in Australia. As our product grows, we are looking to support our sales and customer success team in the Northern Hemisphere with a dedicated full-stack developer, and particularly interested in someone who is strong in front-end development.
What can we offer? We know how much time people spend at work compared to their home life and we want to make sure your work environment is as enjoyable as a job can be. You may see qualifications or skills in this ad but what really matters to us is attitude and making sure that you are a great fit for our team culture. As a result we are not looking to hear from overseas companies who offer virtual employee services, we want a new team member who will be part of the Datanest team and success.
We are currently establishing office locations in the northern hemisphere and require a developer who is able to work from home. We will offer a competitive remuneration package that is catered based on skills and experience, this includes a competitive salary and the option of additional annual leave (starts at 20 days and one day added per year for each year of employment), health insurance, stock options, paid phone and wellbeing allowance.
Whilst we are still young as a company we have developed a company culture that we are proud of and we make a point of celebrating our team successes as we reach our milestones. For the right applicate we want them to feel part of a team and will provide them with flights and accommodation to New Zealand to join the rest of the team for 1-2 weeks during their first 12 months at Datanest.
Who would make a great addition to our team?Someone who is self-motivated, and comfortable in managing their own workload as well as contributing to the growth of the team through sharing knowledge. Someone with strong communication skills and the ability to understand the business logic will slot into our team, if you have a passion for a combination of full-stack development with DevOps then we would love to talk.
You will be a lead developer responsible for developing new software products and enhancements to existing products.
Please note if you don't meet all of the requirements, but you’ve got a great attitude and like being part of a team going places, we would love the chance to meet you, so please apply.
