Lead Mobile Developer (iOS)

Lead Mobile Developers act as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that teams are successful in their delivery. In this role, you will bring a strategic mindset to projects and spend time collaborating and negotiating with clients to bring a technical vision to life. Having a balance of high-level and tactical mindsets is a must, as you will spend time both with clients and your teammates. We are looking for a Lead Mobile Developer with native iOS platform experience to join our team.

Job responsibilities

You will champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using practices like TDD, mobile architecture patterns, design and pair programmingYou will oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to evolution in production and everything in betweenYou will use your passion for mobile development to aid our clients in enabling a platform-appropriate, seamless and human-centered experience for their usersYou will design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints and make pragmatic tradeoffsYou will use continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speedYou will work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences and create meaningful change for a variety of clientsYou will apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problemsYou will apply a variety of languages to your work and continue to code alongside Developers; you will not be post-technical in this roleYou will efficiently use and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software, advocating devops culture and shifting security left in development

Job Qualifications

Technical Skills

You have demonstrated experience building new mobile application experiences for the iOS platformYou are well versed using two or more mobile development languages (Swift, Kotlin, Dart, Javascript, etc.) coupled with experience in UI development using mobile SDKs and UI frameworks (Swift UI, Jetpack Compose, Flutter, etc.)You have led software development teams using Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing and infrastructure automationYou can help teams to take into consideration the fundamental concerns affecting mobile software such as single vendor limitations, constrained execution environment, disconnected operation, discrete release cycles, accessibility, privacy, etc.Bonus points if you have working knowledge of mobile devops/pipeline tools, such as fastlane, gradle, etc.

You have experience influencing others and always advocate for technical excellence while being open to change when neededYou bridge product and technology by helping to translate business needs to software requirementsYou are able to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business valueYou will act as a mentor for less experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and ability to inspire a team to deliver extraordinary impact togetherYou’re resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach challenges from multiple perspectives
