Back End Developer

Job SummaryArgonDigital is seeking a Backend Developer to join our organization. We are looking for someone who understands content platforms as well as having experience working with multiple customers. We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to learn and wants to grow into a solution architect. Ideally this person is more than just a developer. They will be responsible for some development tasks, but because of our diverse customers they will also need to be a quick learner when it comes to various technology solutions and tech stacks. The primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A passion for collaborative problem solving, sophisticated technical design, and solution quality is essential. To be successful this person will love to problem solve and keep moving forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Act as technical point of contact on client engagements. · Understand and apply ArgonDigital’s requirements methodology.· Support the solutions we design and build.· Build relationships with stakeholders and facilitate clear communication.· Balance multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.· Deliver value with some direction.

Position Requirements:· Experience in a programming language such as Java or Groovy and an understanding of the software development life cycle.· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field · Experience with content platforms like Alfresco or SharePoint· Understanding of modern solution architectures featuring public, private, and hybrid cloud components · Analytical problem-solving skills· Must be comfortable working with customers in a professional service environment· Demonstrated track record of engaging customers and becoming a trusted technical advisor Ideal candidate: · Experience programing with Python or JavaScript in addition to Java· Experience with Alfresco, SharePoint, Ephesoft, or Cofax· 3+ years of technical experience· Comfortable receiving and providing feedback to/from team members · Loves to see a project through from vision to launch· Takes ownership of goals and works to meet or exceed them· Comfortable in a flexible and changing environment· Team player who loves interacting with people· Willingness to admit to and learn from mistakes
