Our project is a robotic-assisted surgical system which is a master-slave, software-controlled electromechanical system designed for surgeons to perform telerobotic minimally invasive surgery. Our Client is a global leader in medical technology. It designs, develops, manufactures, installs, services, distributes and markets a wide variety of medical devices. GlobalLogic is taking part in the creation of innovative surgical products and services that focus on obesity and diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, abdominal wall, pelvic region, and head and neck.

Requirements:

Required Skills

At least 5 years of experience in software development (Python).Good experience in Python development – REST API, extensions like DOCX, Good understanding of *nix systems and shell scripting (QNX is a plus).Experience with version control systems: GitAdvanced level of English.Experience in Software testingBasic estimation, planning, and reporting skills.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in DevOps, Continuous Integration, and automation tools developmentTechnical documentation – automated document creation

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing automation scripts

Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application

Suggesting automated software test procedures

Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes

Pointing out problem areas

Troubleshooting automation software issues
