Location: NYC, NY / Pittsburg, PA (1-2days/week hybrid onsite) - Locals only, no relos.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience.Full stack developer with 50% UI and 50% backend.Angular, Java/Spring boot, linux/unix.Heads down coder.Some new development and maintenance.Java 11 and Angular 14 or 17 they are using.No cloud, all on prem.Prefers someone with 6 years of angular experience.

Additional Skills

8+ years of experience developing web applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST API and Angular?Angular experience 5+ years and Java 8+ years. senior levelHands on experience developing and implementing microservicesExperience in Docker, Java 11, Streaming API, Gradle/Maven, CI/CD (Jenkins), Bitbucket/GitWorking experience in Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth is an added advantage?Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments?Strong Agile/Scrum development experienceStrong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

Design and development of the software applications, which includes, but is not limited to, API design, database design, class design, and user interface designTesting and debugging of the software they develop, both in Unit tests as well as Integration testsTroubleshooting issues that can be caused by business process changes, faulty code, training issues, etc.Help resolve issues that other team members are unable to solveProvide innovative ideas and solution to complex as well as rather simple looking problemsDevelop user interface using modern frameworks and practices like Angular, unit, Material UI, Responsive web design and ReactDevelop service API using modern frameworks/architecture pattern like Spring boot, Node.js, REST, microservicesFollow DevOps best practices and automate as needed
