COBOL developer Offshore-RemoteFull time Skills· Candidate should have at least 7-8 years of solid working experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL7/8) operating systems.· Should have experience as a COBOL developer with proficiency in the COBOL programming language · Should be able to write, modify & execute shell scripts for data processing· Candidate should have strong analytical & troubleshooting skills to understand requirements & resolve issues in existing programs· Should be able to design, code, test & debug COBOL programs · Should have basic SQL knowledge to work on the database· Should have good communication skills both written & verbal.· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities & deadlines.· Ability to work independently & commitment to delivering within a given timeline· Should be flexible to work in second shift & for 24/7 on-call support
