Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Wordpress Developer Intern, who will be responsible for assisting our team in creating, improving and maintaining Wordpress-based websites. The role involves collaborating with our team to produce high-quality code, designing and implementing features and functionality on websites, and working on site maintenance and enhancements.

Qualifications

Proficient in Wordpress development, including theme and plugin/customization developmentExperience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQueryKnowledge of MySQL databases and database managementExperience with responsive design and mobile development best practicesExperience with version control tools such as Git and SVNExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentDemonstrated ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technology and toolsExperience with UI/UX design and web accessibility standards is a plusBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is a plus
