About the Role:

California Software Company is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer with a proven track record of designing and delivering high traffic/volume, mission critical, low latency, and highly scalable end to end systems/products. As a Full Stack Lead, you will play a crucial role in taking responsibility for multiple services, improving product reliability, and driving complex engineering initiatives to successful execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:

System Architecture & Development: Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring the architecture supports high traffic, low latency, scalable applications.

Frontend Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of server side logic with user facing elements.

Frontend Integration: Implement RESTful APIs , Web sockets and web services, facilitating efficient communication between frontend applications and the backend system.

Third Party Integration: Integrate third party services and APIs to augment application functionality, enhancing user experiences.

Database Optimization: Optimize database queries and schemas for performance, ensuring swift data retrieval and efficient storage mechanisms.

Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by users or discovered during testing phases, maintaining high product reliability.

DevOps Practices: Understand and implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), to streamline development and deployment processes.

Microservices Architecture: Design and develop microservices architecture, ensuring system scalability and resilience.

Source Control: Manage code versions effectively, Git, ensuring smooth team collaboration and code integrity.

Experience:At least 4+ years in software development.Proven experience in developing scalable microservices.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.In-depth knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, and Web Socket.Skilled in MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.Comprehensive understanding of AWS, including AWS Lambda, Cloud Front, and DynamoDB.Demonstrable success in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
