The Network teams together with the Development teams are forming a new squad to build the company Network Function Virtualization (NFV) system. It will become the base pillar to sustain our data centres and Operations work and will enable the development of our future products.

We are an international team that breaks barriers and brings the European digital future ahead. This is a position for those interested in building the foundation of The European Cloud Provider. You will contribute to making IONOS the biggest European Cloud competitor.

☁ What will be your responsibilities?

Move forward the cloud-native services on a modern open-source stack powered by Go/ Golang and other languages.Proposals and conception of new services and products in a dynamic cloud environment.Drive the autonomous operations and management of distributed systems.Together we continuously improve the quality and resilience of our services.Contribute to the open-source building blocks of our solution.

☁ What will you need to bring expertise in?

Designing, developing, testing and deploying well-engineered code in Go/ Golang.Python language is also desirableYou feel comfortable with Networking concepts and jargon.You stay calm by troubleshooting in production environments.Fluent English

☁ What will day-to-day work be like?

Built a new product from scratch.Being part of a multidisciplinary team passionate about technology, with an open and dynamic culture, where experimentation and discussion are encouraged to progress at work, always with respect and inclusion and using Agile methodologies.We offer personalised career plans, annual performance evaluations and programmes to develop skills and identify key employees, whether you want to continue your development on the technical side or towards management.We operate in Spanish and English and therefore provide unlimited language training.
