Senior WordPress Developer (Remote, US hours)Are you a passionate and experienced WordPress Developer looking for a new challenge? As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with our clients and project managers to understand their needs and expectations.• Developing and implementing custom WordPress themes and plugins that are responsive, fast, and user-friendly.• Creating new themes and plugins from scratch using the latest WordPress technologies and best practices.• Modifying and enhancing existing themes and plugins to suit the specific requirements of each project.• Testing and debugging your code to ensure optimal functionality and compatibility across browsers and devices.• Keeping up to date with the latest trends, updates, and innovations in WordPress and web development.• Providing technical support and mentorship to junior developers on the team.• Reviewing and improving the code quality and performance of your own and other developers' work.• Collaborating with the design team to ensure a smooth and seamless integration of front-end and back-end development.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of themes and plugins that you have created or contributed to.• Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to write clean and efficient code.• In-depth experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, using the WordPress Core, APIs, hooks, filters, and child themes.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with clients and team members across different time zones and cultures.• A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
