Wordpress Developer

What do we need from you?Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related subject.3+ experience in WordPress frontend and backend development.Maintaining fluency in one or more programming languages such as WordPress, HTML, and JavaScript.Creating and building website layouts to client specifications by writing code, designing pages and widgets, and incorporating graphics and video elements.Showcase your expertise in implementing WordPress sites, including the development of custom plugins for these platforms.Identifying the best plugins and applications to provide websites with new features and functionality and installing them accordingly.Testing websites using a variety of browsers, including Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and debugs as necessary.Understanding the latest and legacy browsing capabilities including mobile.Maintaining websites by checking for errors, broken links, and hacking attempts.Experience in front-end designing and back-end development.Extensive knowledge and experience in building WordPress websites using the best practice and de-facto standard plugins.Experience creating plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards.Ability to create clean, logical, well-documented, and reusable code.Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.

Any of the following would be a bonus, but not essential:Degree in MS or equivalent courseExperience and knowledge in higher-level concepts such as domain-driven development, architectural patterns, etc.Have experience in a JavaScript Framework Angular, React, or preferably Vue.Experience in test-driven development is advantageous.Have experience with RESTful / SOAP API creation.Have expertise with PHP Framework (preferably Laravel 9. x – 10. x).

Note: We are UK based company and use employee monitoring tool. Our timings are from 2PM to 11PM (PK)
