What You’ll Do As Founding Frontend Developer:Report directly to co-foundersSet the engineering culture towards UI excellence and best practices, product velocity and pipeline from day 1Own frontend product development from start to finishBuild the best-in-class product experience with our web app product (React/Next) from 0-1Work on architecture, design and development of user facing components of product 0-1Collaborate closely with their backend engineer and CTO (ex: on creating seamless 3rd party integrations using iPaaS)Work closely with product, design and the rest of our engineering team to create features which delight users and customersContribute to other parts of the stack (e.g. our backend services), if that interests youHelp recruit, interview and hire the early engineering team

What You Bring:5+ years of frontend engineering experience using a JavaScript frontend framework, preferably React and NextMastery of JavaScript and TypeScript: Scoping, closures, contexts, prototypes, classes, etcSolid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and API security protocolsProfound experience with GraphQL, integrating SOAP/REST APIs and utilizing tools like Postman (incl. understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques)Experience launching products from start to finish (incl. building CI/CD, deploying AWS)Strong architectural understanding of custom components, custom UI, and cross-browser supportEye for design, product details, and polishHands-on experience with Stencil for creating scalable design systemsProficient in responsive design and addressing cross-browser inconsistenciesDeep understanding of UX/UI principles, Usability, and AccessibilityOrganized and meticulous, with a track record of writing high-quality, maintainable codeStrong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detailWillingness to work hard and ship product at high velocity, especially on Fridays
