The PHP Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and services using PHP, MySQL, and related technologies.
Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Web Applications:Design, develop, and deploy web applications and services using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.Code Optimization and Performance Tuning:Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.Database Management:Design and optimize MySQL databases, including database schema design, query optimization, and data migration.Implement data security and integrity measures to protect sensitive information and ensure data consistency.Integration and API Development:Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.Develop RESTful APIs and web services for internal and external use, following RESTful design principles and standards.Testing and Quality Assurance:Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of web applications.Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix software defects and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and code comments, to facilitate understanding and collaboration.Share knowledge and expertise with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.2 years of experience as a PHP developer, with a strong proficiency in PHP programming and MySQL database development.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter is preferred.Solid understanding of web development concepts, including MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
