Cloud Backend Developer (m/f/d)

As a Cloud Backend Developer you will design and develop the SaaS Version of our IT monitoring Solution Checkmk. You will be leveraging AWS services and cloud concepts to build a scalable, highly available solution, which is running in Kubernetes. You are working closely with our Site Reliablity Engineering team to jointly build Checkmk as a Service:

Conception and development of a SaaS management applicationDesign of backend service to run our management application on AWSWorking with operations, product management, support and sales to convert requirements into technical solutionsCollaborate with technology partners for system integration

YOUR PROFILEUniversity or technical college degree in the field of computer science, IT Security or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in this or similar role ("you built it, you run it") and at least Experience working with and maintaining acceptance testsProgramming skills in PythonPractical experience in the development of web services, in dealing with container technologies (Docker; Kubernetes) and in the use of infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g. Terraform/Helm)Practical Experience with AWS services or other cloud environmentsExperience in operating SaaS Solutions and common requirements in this areaBusiness fluent in written and spoken EnglishPassion for current technology developments and their applicationsYou enjoy contact with users
