We seek a passionate and talented Junior Mobile App Developer to join our tech team. In this role, you will work on our iOS and Android apps to help create a space where people can connect genuinely. You will be part of a team that delivers an inclusive and engaging dating experience.

What we will provide

100% remote working - we only ask that you are in any timezone within GMT +/-2 and willing to work UK hours to be able to collaborate with the team efficientlySalary depends on experience and location. Your task

You will join our product team and work closely with our lead developer and CPO to develop, test and maintain the mobile applications on both iOS and Android platformsYou will also work closely with our founder, CMO and COO to understand outcome-based requirements to continue building new features iteratively and scaling existing onesYou will take ownership of the entire mobile development life cycle in collaboration with our lead developerYou will contribute to code reviews and help maintain a high-quality codebaseYou will need to stay up-to-date with the latest mobile app development trends and technologiesYou will take an active part in building up the company culture

Your experience

You have 1+ years of experience building B2C or B2B mobile apps on iOS and AndroidIf you have a portfolio showcasing previous mobile app development work. Please share a link, or attach your portfolio when completing your applicationYou have a good understanding of React Native or React JS fundamentals and have used them to develop appsYou have experience with using ES6 JavascriptYou have backend experience and a good understanding of Node JS with Express JSYou have experience with database structures using MySQL or any other NoSQL database such as MongoDBYou have experience in developing using designs that have been created on Figma or other design softwareYou have experience using source management systems such as GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, etcYou have experience working with a package management system such as NPM, Ruby Gems, Cocoa PodsYou have experience with the release process of launching new versions to the Apple App Store and Google Play StoreBonus points if you have experience working with APIs and Serverless technologies such as Firebase, AWS LambdaBonus points if you have working experience of AWS technologies such as S3, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM etc
