Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, possesses strong technical skills, and has extensive experience working with WordPress. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress websites and applications for our clients. You will collaborate with our design and marketing teams to create visually stunning and highly functional websites that exceed client expectations.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance.Modify and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.Collaborate with designers to implement creative solutions and ensure seamless integration of design elements into WordPress sites.Optimize website performance and user experience through front-end and back-end optimizations, including code refactoring, image optimization, and caching.Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites, plugins, and themes, providing timely resolutions to technical challenges.Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance our development process and deliverables.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks.Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with other CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, Joomla) and e-commerce solutions (e.g., WooCommerce) is a plus.
