The waste industry is stuck in the past: opaque pricing, paper-based invoicing, and complex processes frustrate both businesses and individuals. Downstream is shaking things up! We're building a user-friendly platform that offers transparent pricing options, real-time order management, and convenient in-app payments. But we need a Lead Django Application Developer to join our mission and lead the charge.

What You'll Do:

Architect and build scalable, secure Django applications: You'll be the technical lead, crafting the core backend APIs that power our platform. Think robust REST APIs, efficient data models, and rock-solid security practices.Champion a "journey, not the destination" mindset: We're innovating in uncharted territory, so adaptability and a willingness to experiment are key. Be ready to iterate, learn, and continuously improve.Mentor and guide junior developers: Share your Django wisdom and empower your team to reach their full potential. Foster a collaborative environment where everyone can learn and grow.Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest Django trends, libraries, and best practices. Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance performance and security.
