Senior Fullstack Developer (Frontend focused): UK Client, Permanent (WFH)

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in IndiaExperience: 6+ yearsShift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter).

Role and responsibilities:Work with UI designer, team lead and Product Manager to build high quality front end / user interface .Drive best practices and continuous improvement for front-end design.Coach and mentor junior members of the team.Provide front-end expertise and help design best solutions for new features.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.Build high quality backend systems, including database structures and API connections.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

Required skills and experience:4+ years of experience as a front-end developer (ideally VueJS, but happy to consider other relevant modern frameworks), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design)2+ years of experience as a full-stack developer with expertise in PHP/Laravel and VueJSGood eye for detail.Understanding of good UI/UX practices.Understanding of the principles and practices of Clean Code.Some experience with RESTful API development and integration.Some experience with MySQL or similar.Fluent Git skills.

Desired skills and experience:Degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience of working with project management tools such as Shortcut, Jira, or WrikeExperience with other modern PHP frameworksKnowledge of one or more other programming languages
