Role Overview:As a Software Developer in Test (SDET) / Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our clients based in the US, working remotely to understand their requirements and implement effective testing strategies. Your strong analytical skills will be vital in examining data, graphs, and various screen outputs to validate the accuracy and consistency of our software. You will work with automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress to develop robust test frameworks and scripts to streamline the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with clients to understand their testing requirements and objectives.Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.Prioritize test cases into P0, P1, and other levels based on business impact and risk.Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and other relevant tools.Analyze and interpret data, graphs, and screen outputs to ensure accurate and consistent results.Identify and report software defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure high-quality software delivery.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in web-based SaaS testing and quality assurance.Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sense of complex data and graphs.Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation and scripting.Experience working with automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.Familiarity with AWS services, including DynamoDB and Synthetic Monitoring, is a plus.Working knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines is a plus.Excellent ability to prioritize test cases into P0, P1, and other levels based on business impact and risk.Solid experience in writing test plans and documentation.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
