Wordpress Developer

Webdew is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress development best practices, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specificationsCustomize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirementsCollaborate with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalityConduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deploymentProvide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixesExperience in speed optimization techniquesStay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practicesConfigure and customize WooCommerce functionalities like product pages, shopping carts, and payment gateways to enhance the overall user experience.Proficient in setting up custom Woocommerce and other complex functionalities on both front end and back end as per the website requirement.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in WordPress developmentProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHPStrong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and pluginsExperience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibilityExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plusExperience with custom coding in WordPress, including developing custom functionality, hooks, and filtersProficiency in PHP and MySQL for customizing WordPress functionality beyond standard themes and pluginsAbility to troubleshoot and debug custom code efficientlyFamiliarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices for maintaining clean, efficient, and secure codeStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when implementing custom solutions to meet project requirements
