Application Developer

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:

Work with internal customers, Business Analysts, and ETL developers to understand business requirements and specific analytics and reporting needsEnsure that reports are of the highest quality and delivered on timeDesign, develop, and support reports and dashboards using the Jaspersoft reporting platform and related tools.Capable of analyzing requirementsSkilled in designing and developing reports using Jaspersoft Studio and Jasper Report serverKnowledge of Jaspersoft Architecture and DeploymentWork with customers, Business Analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and specific reporting needs

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies:

7+ years Jasper report experience with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related field4+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using Jaspersoft and/or JasperReports4+ years of experience in full stack Java development including building API’s, RESTful services using Spring/Spring Boot2+ years of experience with various database tools e.g., AWS PostgreSQL RDSStrong Java developer with experience in Java/Spring boot/API and cloud experienceJava developer, Jasper Reports, Springboot framework. and Angular experienceKnowledge of Jaspersoft Architecture and DeploymentExperience in developing Complex Reports using Jaspersoft Server and Jaspersoft StudioExperience in creating Ad Hoc Reports using Views and DomainsMust be able to understand /develop SQL and PLSQL queriesKnowledge of report deployment and configuration is a must.Skilled in converting reports

Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies:

Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (e.g., Lambda, S3, AWS OpenSearch, EC2, EKS, AWS RDS)Working knowledge of other reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Power BI)Experience developing AWS-cloud native applications and/or migrating on-prem applications to AWS Cloud environment.
