Web Developer - Learning Management SystemAt Spandrel Interactive we develop a variety of software solutions including Games, Apps, and XR products for learning. We make it happen with game design, user experience, and value design coupled with the experience needed for successful production execution.

We are building a custom LMS on the Moodle platform and are looking for skilled web developers to work with our team to build and integrate custom code and build a seamless experience for our users.

Responsibilities of a Web Developer - Learning Management System:Develop and maintain customizations, plugins, modules, and applications to enhance the functionality of Moodle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party tools into Moodle.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Moodle, including debugging and performance optimization.Design and develop custom Moodle modules and applications.Stay up to date with the latest Moodle updates, trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve our Moodle LMS.Provide technical guidance and support to instructors, administrators, and end-users of the Moodle platform.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Strong knowledge of PHP, Javascript, SCSS, Git, SQL.AWS experience is considered an asset. Experience with Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle APIs and plugin considered an asset.Excellent communicator capable of collaborating in a flexible, remote environment.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and willingness to share ideas.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.There are both short-term and long-term opportunities. We are flexible with contract arrangements being available on a full-time or part-time basis.
