We’re looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our Product Team and help build great, accessible products with solid engineering practices.

You’ll be working with hapi (Node.js) servers, GraphQL, Vue.js, Docker and our Design System to build, monitor and support our jobseeker product that powers global brands such as The Guardian and Washington Post.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building great user experiences, accessibility and collaborating with our team of Product Managers, Designers and developers.

How you will make an impact:

You will build and maintain excellent web products that are accessible, well designed and deliver a great user experience. You will collaborate with a team of Product Managers, Designers and Developers.Help to measure the impact of our product through AB testing, analytics and internal / external feedback.Write code that is easy to maintain and support for your peers.Work closely with a group of front-end developers to refine, develop and code review user stories.

Desired Skills:

Have a passion for delivering excellent web products that are accessible, well designed and deliver the best user experience. Have some experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6), Node.js and Front end JS frameworks (we use Vue.js).Be able to spot gaps and identify incorrect assumptions in project/client work.Have some knowledge of consuming APIs such as GraphQL and REST.Ideally you would have already worked within a product environment.
