Full Stack Developer

Purpose This is a contract position, the ideal candidate will be an experienced full-stack developer with experience in microservices and CI/CD. Our customers demand the highest quality and reliability for their services, and we look for innovative ways to meet that demand. Our internal systems are a key component to providing world-class customer experiences via solution engagements or self-serve portals by conveying the optimal data to feed process automation workflows, and business analytics in the most efficient, resilient, and scalable manner. Sales, Financial, and Operational efficiencies are critical to the white-glove treatment Centrilogic strives to maintain. To that end, the internal systems must optimize workflows and data entry to enable staff efficiency and automate repeatable processes.

Primary Responsibilities • Architect highly scalable software solutions • Design, develop, and implement software utilizing various network protocols • Develop containerized microservices using Python • Collaborate with software development team to fix and improve existing applications • Monitor and assess current system performance • Identify scalability issues and opportunities • Support software testers and application engineers during deployments and maintenance • Provide support for testing/development/staging environments • Create testing strategies and procedures for all core components • Communicate with both RESTful and SOAP services • Produce and maintain documentation on installations, procedures, and requirements for systems. • Research, suggest, and implement new technologies, strategies, and ways to solve technical issues.

Required Experience & Skills • 4+ years of experience with Python. • 3+ years of web application development experience. • Experience with containerized application deployments and orchestration (Docker Swarm/Kubernetes) • Experience with message queueing architectures, especially RabbitMQ, is preferred. • Languages: Python, C#, PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, Frameworks: jQuery, Node.js, and Angular • Database development skills: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, MySQL, Sybase • Software Packages: RabbitMQ, Cherwell, Salesforce, Dynamics NAV • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture • Strict adherence to process and procedures • Understanding and hands-on expertise with the SDLC lifecycle • Experience building and maintaining scalable REST APIs • Experience with different deployment tools - Jenkins, Hudson, TFS Deployment, TeamCity • Source Control expertise (Git/TFS/Subversion) • Skills in Windows and Linux environments a plus • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Git) • Experience with Containers in a production environment • BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. • Experience working in an Agile, TDD environment • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Mastery of design patterns and anti-patterns • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Superior oral/written communication and time management skills • Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
