Position Description

Bridgenext is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with experience in Node.JS/TypeScript, microservices, and cloud technologies. In this role you will primarily be working with Node.JS and TypeScript on a Cloud based SaaS product (hosted on Azure Kubernetes cluster). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an established team with a fun culture, where there is opportunity for growth and mentorship. You will also be working on an exciting 3PL product from scratch with the latest technology stack. You will be doing hands on coding with Node.JS to build backend services, as well as React framework to do front end development. You will also be developing GraphQL APIs and server side applications that are integrated using Kafka.

Core technology Stack: Node.JS, Express, TypeScript, GraphQL, and React.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Building backend services with Node.JS Building GraphQL APIs Front End Development using React framework Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Engaging in the full development life cycle including architectural design and testing Staying current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them Maintaining a high bar for quality and performance of your product with vigorous attention to detail and unit testing Continuously improving how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team

Must Have Skills

5-10 years of experience developing Node.JS applications Experience developing Web APIs using NodeJS, and e xperience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs Experience with Express or Nest Frameworks Strong proficiency in TypeScript Familiarity with Microservices Architecture Experience performing Node Unit Testing Experience with React Framework
