We are entering an exciting phase of expansion within the ITSM group, where this position will play a vital role in shaping our new IT strategy for the future.
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet our organization's IT service management requirements. We seek a dynamic UI/UX designer who will lead the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design efforts across in ServiceNow. Your focus will be on optimizing every aspect of the online user experience for enhanced usability, functionality, and outstanding visual design.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a dedication to delivering innovative solutions to UI/UX design challenges, staying abreast of the latest best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and UI technology.
What You'll Get To Do
User Experience Design Investigation: Explore and analyze user experience design requirements in ServiceNowUI/UX Design Strategy Development: Conceptualize and develop a comprehensive strategy for UI/UX design aligning with our brand.Production of High-Quality UX Design Solutions: Create wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes to deliver exceptional UX design solutions.Design of UI Elements and Tools: Develop UI elements like navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets to enhance user interaction.Testing and Optimization of UI Elements: Test and optimize UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links to improve user engagement.ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations using industry best practices and coding standards. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions. Customization and Configuration: Customize the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.
Skills And Experience We Value
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in a development role. Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the periodExperience in front-end development (JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, CSS, HTML) is idealExperience in ServiceNow application development, including scripting, business rules, UI policies, and workflows.Knowledge of ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.Understanding of ITIL principles and their application within the ServiceNow platform.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.Possess a keen artistic eye for design, ensuring visually appealing and engaging digital experiences.Demonstrate adeptness in creative thinking to innovate and problem-solve effectively.ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator, are highly desirable.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.The role is offering flexibility in work location. However, occasional in-office reporting may be required as needed.
