RequirementsIn this role, the Developer should have 6+ years of experience in areas of designing, developing Proxies, modifying and managing CA/Layer7 API Gateway and APIGEE Gateway, including deploying, refactoring policies for migration, integrating with datastores and backend systems. May also develop additional tools/utilities and will need to have the following skills to perform daily activities:

Design, Implement, and manage CA API gateway and Apigee solutions to enable secure and efficient API communications. Hands-on experience in API management platforms, such as Layer 7 and/or the CA API Gateway and Apigee API related activities such as: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, building API policies, shared Flows and assertions. Hands-on experience with XSLTs to manage Request/Response transformations for SOAP proxies. Familiarity with the OAuth component of the CA API Gateway/Apigee and all aspects of client registrations. Experience with Gateway Migration Utility (Layer 7 / CA API Gateway) and automating proxies, shared flows deployments on Apigee gateways. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API gateway functionality, connectivity and performance. In-depth knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and JWKS and their underlying specifications. Prior experience with creating and maintaining design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams. Prior experience developing software in Java is highly desired.

The ideal candidate would be able to develop on L7/APIGEE primarily and Java micro service on demand basis
