Frontend Developer

In this role, you will develop and maintain advanced features, tools and applications according to the best practices in UI/UX and front-end development.

Your Impact

Creating new user-facing features with React.js & Next.js Creating reusable front-end components and UI librariesEnsuring that best practices are in use for all front-end developmentsUX/UI designs and wireframes to be converted into high-quality codeOptimizing components for best performance across a wide range of devices and browsersKnowledge of code versioning technologies such as GitProviding functionality to current and newly launched productsCollaborate with the Back-End development team to guarantee that software solutions are delivered smoothlyWork on a range of software products such as mobile apps, online apps, landing pages, and/or dashboardsCollaborate with the team to discover and resolve system 'bugs' to ensure product stability and availabilityContributing to code reviews to enhance collaboration and maintain a high quality of codeStaying up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies, industry trends and advancements

Qualifications

2+ years of front-end development experience, preferably with React.jsKnowledge of RESTful APIs, modern front-end build pipelines and toolsKnowledge of popular front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and related web technologies.Knowledge of contemporary front-end build workflows and tools Understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into technological requirementsKnowledge of code versioning technologies such as GitDue to work visa restrictions, candidates must be able to work in Cyprus

Good to have:Familiarity with JAM stackKnowledge of GraphQL and GatsbyJSFamiliarity with automated front-end testing like Jest/Mocha/ChaiFamiliarity with native git hook libraries like Husky to optimize code deliverance at all stages of development
