AEM Backend Developer

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Backend Developer to join our team. As an important member of the development team, you will collaborate to design, develop, and maintain AEM backend solutions.

Responsabilities:

Work closely with the development team to design, create, and maintain AEM backend solutions.Implement custom AEM components, templates, and workflows based on project requirements.Participate in configuring and customizing AEM authoring environments, managing content models, permissions, and user roles.Integrate AEM with external systems and services using APIs and web services.Develop and optimize backend code, ensuring performance and scalability while adhering to best practices and coding standards.Debug and troubleshoot issues within AEM applications, providing timely resolutions and enhancements.Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend functionalities with user interfaces.Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, workflows, and deployment procedures.Stay informed about the latest AEM features, trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.Assist in conducting code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers for code quality improvement.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Solid understanding of Java development fundamentals and object-oriented programming principles.Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture, concepts, and development frameworks.Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Knowledge of RESTful web services and API integration.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving development practices.Prior experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
