Role Description

This is a contract and remote role for a Wordpress Developer with Shopify. As a Wordpress Developer with Shopify, you will be responsible for creating and implementing custom Wordpress themes and manage Shopify stores. You will also work with other team members to maintain and improve existing websites, provide technical support, and ensure site performance and security.

Qualifications

Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptStrong experience with the Shopify platformExperience with Wordpress theme and plugin development and customizationGood understanding of responsive design and mobile-first developmentExperience with PHP and MySQLFamiliarity with Git version control and the command lineAbility to work independently and in a teamExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager is a plusExperience in UI/UX design is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is a plus
