My client is making books visible by building a new centralised platform aimed at the literacy space.

Major publishers and bookstores around the world utilise the software to successfully take their books and articles to market.

They have a beautiful office space in the ‘New Old Town’ area of Frankfurt, but everyone is trusted to work remotely. The development team is spread across Germany.

What does the job entail?Development and optimization of product features and product scope in an agile teamDesign of the architecture and interfaces of the company platform and associated componentsConception of code layering, cross-module / platform-wide conceptsContinuous research and prototyping for new technologies and frameworks

What should I bring?Several years of professional experience in software developmentStrong knowledge of Java and a willingness to contribute on the frontend when requiredExcellent German language skills
