React Native Developer

We are looking for an experienced React Native developer to help us build our React Native mobile app. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in React Native development, as well as in Android and iOS app development.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our app using the React Native framework, integrating with APIs, and ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness. You should have a strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, Redux, and native components. You should also be familiar with code versioning tools, testing tools, and debugging tools. You will work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver features and enhancements that meet our business needs and user expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build a highly scalable mobile application with a robust frontend UI and backend that can handle 100k users initially• Deliver across the entire app life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the App Store and Google Play Store• Deliver across the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, and support• Collaborate with product team stakeholders in the recommendation of enhancements to improve user experience• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues at the code and UI layers• Participate with internal departments in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices• Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users or identified during testing phases• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability• Communicate with engineering teams throughout the organization to build world-class products

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience in Mobile/JavaScript/UI technologies• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native.• Experience with Native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) is a plus.• Experience with GPC, Firebase, Twilio, Sendgrid, and Stripe integrations• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js.• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.• Knowledge of native iOS and Android development tools and frameworks.• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.• Experience with version control systems such as Git.• Fluent English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English).• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Babel.• Previous experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications.
