In This Role, You Will
Be responsible for creating educational content that reflects Pinecone’s engineering excellence and serves not only our developer community, but the AI /ML community at large. You will bring your experience in the AI/ML space to bear not only on our product, but on current needs and future predictions about the industry as a whole. You will inform how Pinecone, and the Developer Relations team in particular, can ever-better serve our developer customers, now and in future. You will report to the Director of Developer Relations and work closely with the Product, Engineering and Marketing teams, as well as our executives.
You Will
Create educational content– presented and written– for Pinecone’s developer community, and developers in the AI space who are not yet Pinecone developersRepresent Pinecone at conferences, events, and summits that call for a strong understanding of not just our roadmap, but the direction of the industryWork with a team of developer advocates to help uplevel our work across the board in the content and code we createServe as a liaison to the product team for information on trends and needs among the broader AI developer community
To succeed in this role, you must have depth of experience in the AI/ML space, be a polished speaker and communicator, and comfortable in front of a crowd– whether live or online. You must have a strong understanding of industry trends, and be able to engage with external stakeholders from customers to investors to research organizations and partners. Requirements
10+ years of academic and industry experience in ML/AIExcellent communication of complex technical topicsStrong business acumen and understanding of how the industry landscape will evolve in the next 5-10 yearsEnthusiasm and passion for the technology and for serving our community of engineers
