Must Skills:HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential for building and styling web pages.Exposure to React.js, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies is desirable.Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly known as Demandware): A deep understanding of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, including its architecture, data model, and development best practices, is crucial.Server-Side Development: Knowledge of server-side programming languages such as JavaScript (via Node.js), or proprietary languages like ISML (Internet Store Markup Language) for customizing server-side logic and functionality within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.SFCC Scripting: Familiarity with SFCC scripting languages like ISML (Internet Store Markup Language), DS (Demandware Script), and Pipelines for building dynamic and personalized web experiences.Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing code changes and collaborating with other developers.Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive design principles to ensure that web pages are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.Performance Optimization: Knowledge of techniques for optimizing web page performance, such as minimizing HTTP requests, optimizing images, and implementing caching strategies.Testing and Debugging: Skills in testing web pages across different browsers and devices, as well as debugging and troubleshooting issues that may arise during development.
