PHP Developer (Senior or Mid-level in Riga, Latvia)

Reppublika is a young, multinational media tech company headquartered in Vienna, developing our own SaaS product in the field of online advertising, access panels and digital market research. We are currently a team of 60, including 40 developers, working both on-site and from homeoffice in Latvia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Greece. We are looking for a mid-level or senior PHP Backend Developer to join the team in our Riga office.

YOUR JOB WOULD BE TODevelop minor and major application features - from coding to testing and deployingTroubleshoot application bugs and determine resolutionsOptimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliabilitySuggest improvements, security needs, best practices, etc (we welcome initiative and ideas)

WE ARE LOOKING FORExperience of at least 4 years working with PHP and MySQL (or to be considered at the Senior Level, 6+ years)Experience with Laravel and gitEase in writing, editing, and maintaining Unit/Feature testsAppreciation for clean, reusable, and well tested code, and attention to detailGood English skillsExperience working with a remote teamMySQL profiling and query optimization
