VXForward has a great opportunity for a Lead Java/React Developer -100% Remote with one of our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:Technical Execution: Lead the development of our product using Java for the backend and React for the front end, ensuring a high-quality codebase that meets our ambitious goals.Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Architects and DevOps engineers to craft and implement a coherent strategy, driving forward our modernization efforts.Standards Oversight: Apply and oversee enterprise standards across operations, infrastructure, data, applications, development, security & risk, and business continuance.Innovation Leadership: Drive digital innovation by integrating new technologies and methodologies, aiming to transform our existing technology base and IT landscape.Decision Support: Provide comprehensive cost/benefit analyses to support architectural decisions, guiding the team and leadership towards effective solutions.Mentorship: As the team grows, mentor new engineers in software development principles, patterns, processes, and practices, fostering a culture of excellence.Design and Documentation: Produce and evaluate architectural diagrams, interface specifications, class structures, and other design documents critical to our success.

Required Skills:Frontend and Backend Expertise: Proficiency in developing frontend applications using React and backend services using Java.Azure Cloud: Extensive experience with deploying and managing applications on Azure Cloud.Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading development projects and, over time, guiding a team of engineers.

Highly Desired Skills:CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies.Terraform: Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
