Position Description

Bridgenext is seeking a Full stack Technical Lead on the MERN tech stack to work side-by-side with our customer to collaborate on solutions tailored to solve their challenges and facilitate Agile delivery of capabilities. You will lead a remote offshore team to build and enhance a NodeJS-React application built in the Azure platform . You would also integrate with other source systems and third-party mapping eco systems . You will be collaborating and working with engineering teams across a portfolio in the commercial real estate domain.

Core technology Stack – React JS , Cosmos, MongoDB, SQL, Node, Mapbox , Azure Maps, TypeScript

Workplace: Remote but will be working in CST; Within commutable distance to Chicago, IL is a plus. For 100% remote workers , you can expect to travel approximately once per quarter.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Building backend services with Node.JS Front End Development using React framework Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Engaging in the full development life cycle including architectural design and testing Staying current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them Maintaining a high bar for quality and performance of your product with vigorous attention to detail and unit testing Continuously improving how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team Perform code reviews, testing , and deployment using best practices and tools Provide technical mentorship and coaching to junior engineers Us e Agile software development approaches, such as Scrum , and keep the team on track for success

Must Have Skills

5-10 years of experience developing Node.JS and ReactJS applications Experience developing Web APIs using NodeJS, and experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs Experience with Express or Nest Frameworks Strong proficiency in TypeScript Familiarity with Microservices Architecture Experience performing Node Unit Testing Experience with React Framework Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions. Experience working within an Agile environment and acting as a mentor for junior team members.
