We’re looking to hire a Software Developer to join our Customer Analytics Team. You will use Ruby, Javascript, HTML, SQL, and more to enhance our full-stack web personalization infrastructure. You will join a cross-functional team of talented Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts to help integrate these solutions with our NextGen data and analytics platform.
What you’ll do: (Estimated time of how much of an average week is spent doing each item. This is subject to change):
25% - Design, build, and improve data collection architecture for customer behavior events25% - Monitor pipelines and services for issues and ensure identified bugs are routed and resolved20% - Build analytics-driven product features that power key website real estate15% -Integrate tools to monitor analytics-driven services and provide insight into performance metrics15% - Create and maintain technical documentation and write well-abstracted, reusable, and efficient code
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience3+ years of full-stack web application development experienceGood knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data structuresDemonstrated advanced skills using Javascript, Ruby, HTML, and SQLExperience in API layers like custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modificationsFamiliarity with analytics data tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, etc.Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures

5+ years of relevant experience in SQL, NoSQL, and web application developmentExperience with Data Lake concepts and implementationExperience developing with cloud services such as AWSExperience with microservices and serverless environmentsUnderstanding of event-based Customer Data Platforms like Segment, Tealium, mParticle, etc.Knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework
