Mobile Application Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer to collaborate with internal and external teams to develop functional mobile applications while working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a passion for new technology, while at the same time able to understand the needs of our customers and how emerging technology can improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Work with client to prepare and program various projects related to the latest Mobile technologiesDeliver across the entire app life cycle from concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and supportQuickly integrate and update projectsContribute to the team effort by accomplishing project tasks on schedule and by interacting with other developersProvide technical insight on existing mobile platforms to improve performance, availability and utilization optimizationsPrepare projects for hand-off and deployments as “proof concepts” move to production

Required Skills & Expertise

BA/BS University degree with a concentration in computersStrong knowledge of iPhone & Android frameworks. Deliver state of the art iOS & Android mobile experiences across the different functionsUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability1-2+ years of mobile development, native or cross-platformExtensive knowledge of at least one programming language commonly used in mobile app development, such as Swift, Objective C, Java/Kotlin, C#, or JavaScriptExperience with native iOS/Android developmentExperience with Flutter, React Native or Xamarin.Experience with third-party libraries and APIsAbility to identify opportunities for technical improvements across multiple processes or functional areas, recommend solutions, and advocate for implementationParticipate in mentoring and skills transfer to junior members of the team
