Power Platform Developer (Power Pages)

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with an emphasis on Power Pages and Canvas Apps to join our team. The candidate will have a good level of knowledge of all components of the Power Platform and be a champion of delivering against requirements using code-free solutions. Essential Functions and Required Skills:· Knowledge and experience with developing Microsoft Power Platform – Power Pages, Canvas & Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power BI Model-driven and Canvas apps, as well as an understanding of the difference between them· Leverage Power Platform expertise to help the team solve complex problems.· Power Platform – Power Pages, Power Apps, Automate, BI, etc· Basic Web - HTML+JavaScript · Specific to writing event handlers and show/hide add validators to form validation o JQuery and HTML DOM-manipulationo Power Pages specific JS code, · Knowledge of CSS for styling tweaks· Power Pages training beyond the basics (CSA and CAT) · Relational Database design concepts· Model-driven Apps concepts (Forms, Views, Timeline, Sub-grids, Lookups, Option sets)· Dataverse data and process integration patterns· Requirements gathering, solutioning, and negotiation· Basic Web Development (HTML, CSS, JS)· Proven experience working in both Agile/Waterfall project delivery · Ability to liaise with business stakeholders on app requirements· Ability to collaborate with the Global Power Platform team on platform technical requirements· Ability to collaborate with functional teams with both onshore and offshore resources · Ability to demonstrate a clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities · Excellent client-facing skills, e.g., verbal, client demonstrations, delivering training within an organization · Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices· Experience requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping and unit testing integration

Desired Skills:· Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform Certifications· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University· First-hand professional experience within a consultancy environment · Skilled in Power Platform code syntax and language requirements, API, or rest service integrations· Experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and tools, such as Power Automate Desktop, Ui Path, Blue Prism· Expert with Power BI development for dashboards, reports, and standalone visuals· Power Apps Portal Development and other custom portal development· Integrating with Azure services through Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, WebApi’s · Expertise in the Power Platform COE and all governance components· A proficient level of knowledge with project tools such as Azure DevOps· Experience in solution delivery with tools other than Power Platform such as Office 365, D365, etc.
