One of only 50 Web Development agencies in the UK, and we rank in the top 20.As one of our in-house developers, you'll work with third-party development teams and clients to provide support and development of projects. This role is perfect for a developer early in their career who wants the opportunity to lead and show what they’re made of.We are a fully remote business with no physical office, however we like our team to be UK based, and willing to transfer for client meetings and team meet ups.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting Senior Developers and clients where needed.Identify client problems throughout the lifecycle of projects and apply technical solutions.Doing practical discovery work on proposed integrations to allow for specification and instruction to dev workSitting on PM and client calls to act as a technical consultant, reassuring client and PM to process and requirements.Taking the lead and hands-on development for Craft CMS and Craft Commerce-based projects, maintenance and updates.Maintain and develop and maintain Laravel / Livewire based projects, including package updates and new features.Working as part of a team for Wordpress backend and frontend development, following designs and briefs for client project work.Working as part of a team and hands-on-development for from-scratch bespoke PHP/MySQL application builds, This includes working with the team, contractors, and clients to build out complete product development cycles.
Qualifications and Nice to have(s)1+ years of experience in web development and software designExpertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), JS Frameworks, PHP frameworks, Laravel, and MySQL databasesWorking knowledge and experience of WordPress and Craft content management systems, including custom (non-plugin) based development.Experience working with remote development teamsExperience in database management and optimizationExperience working with large or bespoke e-commerce websites.Experience using GIT for version controlExperiences integrating with external web services, such as SOAP or RESTExperience with eCommerce integrations, such as ERP, PIMS, and CRM systemsUnderstanding of usability, design, and copy of high-converting web pages and sales funnels
