Full Stack Web Developer / Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing web applications using modern technologies and frameworks, with a strong focus on Next.js and React.

Location: Remote, North and South America

Language: Fluent written and spoken english (Possibly CEFR B1 but ideally B2+)

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and other modern web technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applicationsImplement responsive and accessible user interfaces based on designs provided by our design teamOptimize web applications for maximum speed and scalabilityTroubleshoot and debug issues in the development and production environmentsParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required Skills:Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSSStrong experience with Next.js and ReactFamiliarity with server-side rendering and static site generationCapable of creating responsive web design and cross-browser compatibilityExperience with version control systems, particularly GitComfortable working with the command line for managing git, kubectl, curl, and filesystem managementAbility to set up and work in a local development environment using KubernetesUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating them into web applicationsKnowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applicationsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying web applications to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or AzureStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:Experience with TypeScriptFamiliarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client, tRPCFamiliarity with content management systems like Contentful or StrapiUnderstanding of web security best practices and experience implementing security measuresExperience with web accessibility standards and implementing accessible web applications
