React Native Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to play a pivotal role in translating business requirements and technical specifications into intuitive mobile and tablet user interfaces. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial link between technical implementation and stakeholder comprehension, ensuring that the delivered solutions are not only user-friendly but also durable, scalable both horizontally and vertically, and easily maintainable over time.The candidate should embrace a collaborative approach rather than solely focusing on completing assigned tasks. It is crucial to engage in open communication with back-end developers to deliver features comprehensively. Additionally, the candidate should be prepared to assume various roles, including back-end development, quality assurance, and business analysis, as necessary to ensure the completion of a feature.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is imperative for effectively presenting work, articulating technical concepts, and engaging in clear and confident discussions with fellow team members.This role demands a commitment to delivering solutions that stand the test of time and meet the evolving needs of the business.

Key Criteria/Requirements: 4+ years of experience working with React Native or React, React Hooks, and Redux.Experience maintaining React Native apps, including upgrading React Native version is a plusExperience in Android native development is a plus. Experience in iOS native development (nice to have, less important than Android)Experience in adaptive mobile applications development with support of wide variety of mobile devices. (mobile-first, but supporting tablets too)Willingness to work with native code when necessary is required.High-level proficiency in TypeScript, Webpack, NPM/Yarn, but also open to alternatives.Experience with debugging, and performance optimization of React Native and React applications.Experience with Crashlytics, Firebase, or other monitoring tools for mobile apps.Experience with using one of the test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Appium).Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodology and tools such as Confluence and JIRA.Understanding of REST / HTTP / JWT technologies.Experience with promises, asynchronous requests.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.Experience collaborating with back-end developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver complete working features.Experience with full-stack application development is a plus, willingness to understand and debug the system end-to-end is required.Proficiency in Git version control.Experience with code review systems as an author and reviewer, properly providing and reacting to feedback.Experience in providing estimates and adhering to those estimates.Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.Fluent in the English language
