Senior Java Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Full-Stack Developer (100% Remote MUST be A current resident and legal to work in Latvia.

Summary of Position:The role of a Senior Level Java Full-Stack Developer in Docupace is to provide support and enhancements to its core services and develop new micro-services. This requires working closely with our Product Architects, Team Leads, and Chief Architects. It will also require learning and understanding Docupace's framework to participate in design sessions and develop more effectively. The existing core architecture is based on JBoss 7; we are transitioning to Springboot microservices. You will support and play a key role in supporting and upgrading our architecture.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Clarifying what actions the program is intended to performBreaking down program specifications into their simplest elements andtranslating this logic into a programming languageDevising possible solutions to anticipated problemsCombining all aspects of the program design and testing itTesting sample datasets to check if the output from the program works as intendedReacting to situations and correcting the program as necessary;Evaluating and increasing the program's effectivenessAdapt the program to new requirements as necessary

Minimum Education and Experience:Minimum five years of development experience in JavaFunctional Programming experience in Java 8, Scala, or ClosureMinimum five years of SQL ExperienceSome experience in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React Scala Experience (Optional, but willing to learn)Some PL/SQL ExperienceSpring ExperienceExperience building REST services

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent written and oral skillsAble to actively participate in virtual meetings and communicate effectivelyarticulate and convince a cross-section of stakeholders about new and opposing ideas.Able to work with and communicate with all levels of the organizationWell-versed in multitasking and working through multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and task completion
