Oracle Fusion Developer

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Developer Type of Hire: Long-term contract Location: 3 days onsite (Hybrid) – Houston, TX Position Overview: The Oracle Fusion Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of IT applications within the Oracle Fusion platform. This position requires strong Fusion development skills, with additional experience in Java, Weblogic, and database technologies being advantageous. The role involves collaborating with clients across all organizational levels, translating business requirements into technical solutions that meet end-user needs effectively. Job Responsibilities: - Plan, develop, code, test, and migrate applications across multiple technical landscapes.- Design user flows, platform architecture, software patterns, and data models to support present and future business requirements.- Adhere to application standards and best practices.- Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams and Infrastructure teams to ensure overall application success.- Troubleshoot production issues promptly, minimizing disruptions.- Participate in disaster recovery efforts and scheduled annual tests, including documentation maintenance and user coordination.- Demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.- Conduct research into software-related issues and products.- Prioritize and execute tasks efficiently and within deadlines.- Work independently or collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in Oracle Fusion SOA, OSB, and Java language.- Proficiency in operating systems like Linux and Windows.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Preferred knowledge in Java Application servers (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, Apache, or IBM WebSphere), Internet technologies (HTML, XML, WSDL), scripting languages, SDLC activities, PL/SQL programming using Oracle Database, TOAD/SQL Developer, understanding of Cloud Technology and Solutions, and Utility Industry knowledge.- Certification or training in Java Application servers, Cloud Solutions, and Oracle PL/SQL Language is an added advantage. www.bluBYT.com
