.NET Workflow Engine Developer with Azure and Microservices Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Workflow Engine Developer with expertise in Azure and Microservices to join our team. As a .NET Workflow Engine Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining workflow-based systems for our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient microservices using .NET and Azure technologies. Your expertise in .NET, workflow engines, Azure, and microservices will enable you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development and operations processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement workflow-based systems using .NET for automated processes, business logic, and data orchestration* Develop and maintain microservices using .NET, adhering to best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance* Implement and manage workflows using a workflow engine, such as Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) or third-party alternatives* Configure and manage Azure services, such as App Service, Functions, Service Fabric, or Kubernetes, for hosting and scaling microservices* Develop and maintain APIs for microservices communication and integration* Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for applications and microservices* Collaborate with developers and operations teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and propose improvements to processes and tools* Participate in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for microservices* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and operations processes, tools, and methodologies* Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET, Azure, and microservices trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong understanding of .NET programming language and its ecosystem* Experience with workflow engines, such as Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) or third-party alternatives* Familiarity with Azure services for hosting and scaling microservices, such as App Service, Functions, Service Fabric, or Kubernetes* Experience with microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices* Experience with APIs, such as REST or GraphQL, for microservices communication and integration* Knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps* Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging systems, such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or ELK Stack* Strong proficiency in .NET for application development and workflow implementation* Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and address complex development and operations challenges* Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
