Overview
The Software Developer II, will work on a team that includes other software developers along with application administrators who are focused on the day to day support and delivering continuous improvements to our core software applications. The person in this role will act as a Tier 3 support person, working on tickets escalated from our Business Application Administrators. They will also be involved in coding and database updates to resolve issues, as well as performing new development tasks. Additional responsibilities will be helping business analysts pull data for analysis, working to identify and remediate chronic issues, and working on development projects as directed from more senior developers.
Responsibilities
Acts as a Tier III support resource to help Identify and research issues within our production systems and make recommendations on possible resolution Partners with the application administrators and Tier 1 help desk, to quickly resolve tickets Works with application administrators, BA’s and PM’s to perform system and data analysis Helps document existing integrations and technical requirements Works on internal development projects during code design, development, optimization, deployment and ongoing maintenance Deploys software into our QA and Production environments Participates in software upgrades Gains experience and a broad understanding of current software development techniques methodologies, tools and technologies Proposes/implements feasible solutions/processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of applications Participates in unit and user acceptance testing Works independently and deliver on agreed upon timelines Participates in the design process of new features and enhancements to existing software
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 year of software development using VB.NET and/or C# with ASP.NET (or 3-5 years of software development using VB.NET and/or C# with ASP.NET) 2 years of experience writing Stored Procedures, Functions and Views in MS SQL Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communications skills
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Experience with: Javascript/HTML/CSS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) SQL Triggers Exposure to MVC/Razor and Web Services/WCF/Web API Customer service experience or technical helpdesk experience Experience in Agile development Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, GP and SharePoint

Pay Range
$80,000 - $100,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
